  • What is AFSC?

    Angel Flight South Central

Angel Flight South Central (AFSC) helps people who need free air transportation for medical and humanitarian purposes. Angel Flight’s volunteer pilots provide transportation at no cost to passengers.  Since 1991, our pilots have flown over 32,000 missions and have contributed over $90 million to this effort.

While AFSC prioritizes medical missions, we also support flights for humanitarian needs. For example, we fly Texas CASA volunteers to visit foster children in remote parts of the state, and we flew supplies, rescue workers, and evacuees during the Hurricane Harvey relief effort.

Our pilots provide this transportation at no cost to the passengers. AFSC requires additional resources to coordinate missions and communicate with passengers, pilots, hospitals, and social service agencies.
